The Colas shed is fitted with Furgo's Rail infrastructure alignment acquisition system (RILA) which measures absolute track position and geometry with engineering level accuracy. This specialist equipment surveys the rail tracks at line speed and acquires actual, accurate positional information together with value-added georeferenced video of track assets which can be used for various applications.
