The '20s' worked the private charter to Llandudno and return and a public charter from Llandudno to Holyhead and return. The HNRC '20s' came off at Crewe and 20142/189 worked to Cardiff Central. Due to the recent heatwave in the UK, Network Rail has temporary banned mainline steam due to the increased risk of lineside fires. Riviera Train's Br Two Tone Green 47812 (D1916) the locomotive used for shunting the torbay express stock, replaced 5029 Nunney Castle which was booked originally to work the train this weekend. On the 7th July 2013, the first Torbay Express of the season is captured at Langstone Rock, Dawlish Warren in the hands of 47812.
